چکیده
In our previous report we presented preliminary results of the R-matrix analysis of the experimental data [1] of the astrophysical factors for the 13 reaction. This reaction is one of the important reactions of the CNO cycle. The R-matrix method allows us to treat in a consistent way, the resonant and nonresonant contribution, avoiding double counting. The R matrix nonresonant amplitudes are parametrized in terms of the asymptotic normalization coefficients (ANC’s) measured by us [3, 4]. The details of the analysis are given in our previous report. In this report we present the final results of the analysis. We find that the nonresonant captures are important to describe the data. Their effect is amplified due to interference with the resonance amplitudes. Note that 6 of 7 transitions to the bound states measured in [1] are reproduced using the ANC’s determined in our previous works [3, 4]. We determined more accurately the uncertainties of the fits to all bound states. 14 C p N ( , ) γ

N „ 3 He , d ... 15 O as a probe of direct capture in the 14 N „ p , g ... 15 O reaction
Spectroscopic factors and asymptotic normalization coefficients ~ANCs! have been determined for bound states in O using the N(He,d)O reaction. These results are used to calculate the astrophysical S factor for direct capture in the N(p ,g)O reaction. We also discuss how uncertainties in optical-model parameters influence both the spectroscopic factors and the ANCs, and the effect that this has ...
متن کاملAsymptotic normalization coefficient from the 12 C ( 7 Li , 6 He ) 13 N reaction and the astrophysical 12 C ( p , γ ) 13 N reaction rate
Angular distribution of the 12C(7Li,6He)13N reaction at E(7Li) = 44.0 MeV was measured at the HI-13 tandem accelerator of Beijing, China. Asymptotic normalization coefficient (ANC) of 13N → 12C + p was derived to be 1.64 ± 0.11 fm−1/2 through distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA) analysis. The ANC was then used to deduce the astrophysical S(E) factors and reaction rates for direct capture in...

The N(Be,B)C reaction was studied using an 85 MeV Be radioactive beam. The asymptotic normalization coefficients for the virtual transitions 7Be1p↔8B were determined from the measured cross section. These coefficients specify the amplitude of the tail of the B overlap function in the Be1p channel, and were used to calculate the astrophysical S factor for the direct capture reaction Be(p ,g)B at...
متن کاملAstrophysical S factor for 13 C „ p , g ... 14 N and asymptotic normalization coefficients
We reanalyze the C(p ,g)N radiative capture reaction within the R-matrix approach. The low-energy astrophysical S factor has important contributions from both resonant and onresonant captures. The normalization of the nonresonant component of the transition to a particular N bound state is expressed in terms of the asymptotic normalization coefficient ~ANC!. In the analysis we use the experimen...
متن کاملS - factor of 14 N ( p , γ ) 15 O at astrophysical energies ?
The astrophysical S(E) factor of N(p, γ)O has been measured for effective center-of-mass energies between Eeff = 119 and 367 keV at the LUNA facility using TiN solid targets and Ge detectors. The data are in good agreement with previous and recent work at overlapping energies. R-matrix analysis reveals that due to the complex level structure of O the extrapolated S(0) value is model dependent a...
